The top of this mahogany inlaid Regency console cabinet is inlaid with interlaced boxwood inlay that frames an inlaid center panel with three classical urns suspended by bow tied ribbons and stylized cords of ebony and boxwood. The three classical urns are framed with inverted arches of inlaid boxwood vines having leaves and berries. There is one shrinkage crack that extends the length of the top and another faint twelve inch one that is six inches from the back. (It can be filled if desired). The lower doors have the identical motif as the top but in a vertical format. The center frieze disguises a drawer with a boxwood string inlay that frames stylized fabric swags. The sides are inlaid with the same design as the doors. The front stiles have protruding scrolls that are inlaid with suspended tassels. There are shrinkage separations on both doors and sides.
