This sewing table has a bookmatched flame mahogany top with inlaid boxwood edging. The doors have flame grained mahogany also with boxwood edging. The right-hand door has a shrinkage crack in the middle. The pull-out yarn basket has pleated green fabric suspended from a pull-out slide that has a lower boxwood band that extends across the front of the legs and down the sides to the rear of the table. The basket ring pulls are original. The door escutcheons are later. The lower platform shelf connects and supports the legs.
