Vintage Design
Original Danish hanging lamp ‘Divan 2’ manufactured by Lyfa in the 1960s. This lamp was originally designed by Simon Henningsen for the Divan 2 restaurant in Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen.
This unique lighting is made of different metal plates with chrome on the outside and different colors on the inside.

As a designer, Simon Henningsen followed in the footsteps of his famous father, Poul Henningsen. He was the first real lighting architect to design, among others, the PH Artichoke, the PH 5 and the PH Contrast lamp. Simon Henningsen took over his father’s position as architect of the Tivoli amusement park in Copenhagen in 1948.
