Very special late Empire chest of drawers with opaline glass inlay, 19th century, Denmark, 1830. Mahogany with Ivory colored glass inlay. Having four drawers with working locks, 1 key. Beautifully proportioned chest of drawers with brilliant glass inlay. Bottom drawer has hairline crack running through the glass unnoticeable without very close inspection, unseen, and is solid in place without issue for concern. The chest is comprised of pine with Mahogany veneers and opaline glass inset to the drawer plates. The chest is as purchased in Copenhagen 2013, restored in the late 20th century. In very good condition. A stunning individual one of a kind piece that will enhance ay setting.
