This exceptional antique German silver teapot has a circular incurved baluster form.
The surface of this antique 19th century teapot is plain and unembellished, with an impressive chased leaf decorated border to the shoulders.
This impressive example of silver teaware is fitted with the original push fit cover, surmounted with a large and impressive cast silver finial realistically modelled in the form of a stag couchant.
The teapot retains the original stained wood handle fitted to impressive embossed silver sockets incorporating scroll decoration, in addition to an antique dolphin design to the upper portion.
This fine teapot is fitted with an impressive cast silver figural swan necked spout.
