A good Regency triple pillar dining table in figured mahogany, only 48” wide, handsome four splay pedestals with their original tops, the stems with 2 ebonised turnings matching the black ebony stringing in the sabre legs. The castors stamped with a crown & E S & P patent. Original catches in old lacquer. The blocks veneered in mahogany – unusually the bearers are screwed onto the blocks rather than dowelled which means the table can be easily disassembled and packed into a smaller crate. The 2 loose leaves replaced in well matched period timber.
