Creation of Marie-Claude Lalique in 1972. Collaboration between father and daughter is a recurring theme in the Lalique family. Like Suzanne and René, Marie-Claude collaborates with her father Marc, son of the famous glassmaker. Steeped in the family tradition, she strives to continue the work of her grandfather and father. Like them, she draws her inspiration from nature. Réné’s influence can also be seen in her taste for color. She regularly combines colored crystal with clear crystal. This piece is an example, with the blue organic motif applied to the colourless body.
