A large Scottish late Georgian 19th century statuary marble fireplace surround originally from Edinburgh’s New Town.
A generous square edged top shelf, sits above an unadorned central frieze, flanked by plain capitols, below, a moulded and secondary spacer under the frieze line. Below, wide jambs with cock bead returns all supported on splayed foot blocks.
