This piece of furniture has a wonderfully classic shape, with a base, a round body with a door, four flanking columns, an drawer and a marble top on top. The pillar commode can be arrangend free-standing, as it is wonderfully designed from all sides.
The substructure is spruce, veneered with pyramid mahogany, ox-eye slats were used as décor. The column capitals were hand-carved and are still gilded in their original leaf. As well as the original fittings are still present.
Measurements approx.: height 38,58 in – 98 cm, width 16,14 in – 41 cm, depth 16,14 in – 41 cm
Very decorative small piece of furniture that fits in nearly every interiour. An original of the Empire era, made in Italy. It comes in perfectly restored condition, the marble slab has a small repair on one corner – but it is hardly visible due to the marbling.
