An impressive chest of pine drawers from the mid-19th century, hand decorated with linework and a scumble & faux burlwood pattern, on raised tapered bun feet, two over three drawer composition, complete with the original decorative handles.
Highly unusual stepped chamfered top .
Some of the internal lock mechanisms have been previously removed, bumps, knocks and losses to areas of the bun feet.
This is a large and highly decorative chest of drawers, wear commensurate with the age.
