19th Century French Needlepoint & Painted Prie Dieu

A French prie dieu upholstered in colorful needlepoint. This painted prie dieu has a shaped back with a cross and turned spindle designs. The top has a needlepoint upholstery allowing for comfortable arm placement during prayer or reflection and a coordinating needlepoint upholstery on the kneeler.
