An original Spherical Mid century modern Opaline glass lamp on an ABS plastic plinth with original wiring.
Designed in 1950 for iconic home wares store on Heals on Tottenham Court Road, the design of these globe lights are belong with some of the most famous designs to come from Heals.
Perfect for as a table lamp, but this piece is perfectly versatile as it’s able to go on the ceiling or the wall with a screw fitting and space for the wiring. A brilliant example of modernist ergonomic design.
