A very large copper cauldron with later added galvanized liner with welded steel support. The naturally aged copper surface with with hand forged iron handle. The pot is initialed R.C.P. and dated 1836. Hand made with later drilled holes at teh bottom for drainage. There is also an old repair to the rim. The liner measures 29.5 inches in diameter, 6 inched deep, the pot is 43 inches tall to the top of the handle, 28 tot he top of the pot and 42 inches in diameter.
