Antique English Regency carved giltwood convex mirror, circa 1820 in date.
The convex mirror is surrounded by an ebonized elegant reeded slip and a giltwood moulded frieze with ball mounts. The carved top pendant features a carved dragon perched atop a structure of rocks flanked by seaweed and a foliate pendante grouping on the bottom.

This item is being offered in “as found” condition. As a lover of patina I will not do any restoration to this perfectly beautiful and structurally sound looking glass. It has survived for 200 years untouched….retaining the original convex mirror plate.
