A very fine pair of English Regency Period two-arm candelabra, from a prominent family in Philadelphia, circa 1820.
All aspects of the crystal are hand-cut in amazing detail. The circular, double sided, marquis cut crystals hanging from the candle saucers are identifiably English. The gilded bronze lair supports the glorious head of the sun God Helios and has crystal prisms around the perimeter simulating rays of light.
